The first book I remember absolutely loving is the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by the late great C.S. Lewis. His ability to transport me and millions of other kids to a world combining fantasy, wit, humor, tragedy, religion, and redemption was powerful.

As an adult, submerged into the corporate world, my book tastes started to reflect what other adult professionals tend to read. Titles that teach you how to be a better leader, how to excel in your profession, and the importance of finance. All that good adult stuff.

Then we had our son.

Once my wife Caitlin and I had our first rambunctious son Sammy, I fell back in love with the imaginative places children's books can introduce you to. Only this time, I had the immense pleasure of introducing my son to the power of books by reading them to him.

Now, I want to use my God-given creativity to bring stories to your kids too. Starting with my first title "My Mom Wears Two Hats" scheduled for Fall/Winter 2023 Kickstarter, I sincerely desire Smile More Publishing to leave your child and millions of others with a love for books as big as mine.
